FAQ
Peptide 101
8 questions
? What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as building blocks of proteins.
? How much bacteriostatic water should I use to reconstitute?
Please use the BAC Water Calculator to determine how much bacteriostatic water to add to your peptide.
? How do I reconstitute my peptides?
Check out our reconstitution guide, or use the Peptide Calculator to get exact draw amounts for your syringe.
? How long do peptides last?
Lyophilized peptides are stable for months when frozen. Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within the timeframe noted on your COA.
? How should I store my peptides?
Store lyophilized vials in a freezer for long-term stability. After reconstitution, keep refrigerated and protected from light.
? What dose should I take?
We provide peptides for research purposes only and do not give out any medical advice. Please conduct independent research or speak to a licensed medical professional.
? Why is there no liquid in my vial of peptides?
Our peptides are lyophilized (freeze dried) for shelf stability during shipping and handling, to ensure they arrive at maximum potency. They require bacteriostatic water for research use.
? Where do you source your peptides from?
All of our peptides are sourced from vetted, quality-controlled synthesis partners with documented manufacturing standards.

Testing
4 questions
? How are Vytal Peptides products tested?
Vytal Peptides uses independent third-party laboratories to provide analytical testing for research materials. Testing methods and reported specifications may vary by compound and batch, so researchers should review the applicable Certificate of Analysis for specific results.
? Where can I find the Certificate of Analysis for my product?
Current Certificates of Analysis can be viewed on our Testing page and, where available, directly from the corresponding product page. Match the batch or lot number on your research material with the number shown on the applicable COA.
? What does a peptide purity result mean?
A reported purity percentage describes the proportion of material attributed to the target compound using the analytical method identified in the report.Purity should not be interpreted as confirmation of sterility, endotoxin levels, biological activity, stability, or suitability for human or veterinary use unless those characteristics were separately tested and specifically documented.
? What other testing may be available?
Depending on the product and batch, additional analytical documentation may include identity, endotoxin, microbial, residual solvent, or other testing. Researchers should rely on the specific tests and results shown on the applicable batch documentation rather than assuming that every test has been performed on every product.
